Braves to activate LHP O'Flaherty on Friday

08/19/2010 - Atlanta, GA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Atlanta Braves are expected to activate left-handed reliever Eric O'Flaherty off the 15-day disabled list on Friday.

O'Flaherty has been sidelined since mid-July with mononucleosis and lost 15 pounds before regaining it over the past month. He had been a stalwart out of the Atlanta bullpen this season, pitching to a 2.30 earned run average to go with a 3-1 record in 41 appearances.

Atlanta also optioned reliever Mike Dunn and infielder Brandon Hicks to Triple-A Gwinnett after Thursday afternoon's loss to the Nationals.
